American Citizens Services to visit Bavaro and Jarabacoa
The American Citizen Services unit of the U. S. Embassy is pleased to announce that it has scheduled 2 public outreach events in May.
BAVARO: May 5 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Amstar building, Carretera KM 2.
JARABACOA: May 21 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Location to be determined.
The available services will be U.S. passport renewals and notarials. First-time passport applications and applications for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBAs) will NOT be accepted. These must be applied for in Santo Domingo. An official to answer questions about Social Security and other U.S. federal benefits will also be there.
To renew your passport or to complete a notarial, you must schedule an appointment with the U.S. Embassy's American Citizen Services Unit by calling (809) 731-4468 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m, Monday-Thursday. For Federal Benefits appointments, call (809)731-4371 between 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday-Thursday. Appointments for Bavaro must be made prior to April 30 and appointments for Jarabacoa must be made prior to May 19.
